Most recently changed a battery in one and the knife is held with 4 screws TORX very low. I had a small Torx that small, but could use a small screwdriver to reach them. Replacement batteries are connected to two 3-volt through a metal band. I ordered off-line: http://www.totalvac.com/parts/norelcobat ... $ 7.95 plus postage. If you plan to do, so I recommend that you send. It is faster and cheaper.
